A Red Flag Warning is in effect for portions of southeast Wyoming on Thursday from 12 PM to 7 PM. The combination of gusty winds and low relative humidity will lead to critical fire weather conditions. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Here is your Labor Day Weekend Outlook...Saturday will be sunny and hot with maximum temperatures in the 80s west of I-25, with 85 to 98 degrees east of I-25. For your Sunday, expect a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, with high temperatures from 75 to 80 west of I-25, and 81 to 91 degrees further east. The same chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms will occur on Labor Day itself, with maximum temperatures similar to Sunday.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast to develop early this afternoon and continue into the early evening hours. Strong to marginally severe thunderstorms possible with strong gusty winds and very heavy rainfall the primary concerns. Lesser chances of storms Sunday. A warm start to the weekend with high temperatures topping out around 90 in Wyoming and near 100 in the Nebraska Panhandle.
