It was an honor to participate in the 2026 Chicago Heights Police Department Golf Outing at Idlewild Country Club. Events like these bring together residents, businesses, first responders, and community leaders to strengthen the partnerships that make our city a better place to live.

A special thank you to the Chicago Heights Police Department, the event organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who came out to support this great cause. It was also a pleasure spending time with fellow golfers and sharing the day with members of our community.

a Ward 5 Institution! 🎉

Today I had the privilege of joining the community in celebrating the one-year anniversary of Country Squire Market under its new ownership.

For decades, Country Squire has been more than just a grocery store—it’s been a true Ward 5 institution and a place where neighbors connect. It’s been exciting to see the investment, energy, and commitment the new ownership has brought over the past year, and today’s celebration was a reflection of that continued dedication to our community.

Thank you to everyone at Country Squire Market for inviting me to be part of this special day, and congratulations on an incredible first year. I also want to thank the vendors, entertainers, local organizations, and everyone who came out to support this milestone.

As your Alderman, I’m proud to support the businesses that invest in our neighborhoods, create jobs, and help make Ward 5 a great place to live, work, and shop.

Since earning your trust to serve as Alderman for Chicago Heights’ 5th Ward, I have worked every day to be accessible, responsive, and committed to improving our community.
