The Chicago Heights Fire Department would like to congratulate Christopher DeMinck, Anthony Cellini, and Sean Mascolino on successfully completing the Prairie State College Basic Operations Firefighter Academy. 🚒🎓

Christopher DeMinck is a full-time Firefighter/Paramedic with the department and continues to represent Chicago Heights with professionalism and dedication. 👨‍🚒

Anthony Cellini and Sean Mascolino also made history as the first graduates of the Chicago Heights Fire Apprentice Program. Their hard work, commitment, and determination have set the standard for future apprentices. 💪🔥

Sean also proudly continues a family legacy within the department. His father, Tori Mascolino, and uncle, Tony Mascolino, both retired from the department after serving the citizens of Chicago Heights with honor and distinction. 👏🚑

Congratulations to all three on this outstanding accomplishment. We are proud to have you as part of the Chicago Heights Fire Department family and look forward to your continued success and service to our community. 🇺🇸🚒

The Chicago Heights Fire Department and City of Chicago Heights invite the community to join us in honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country during this year’s Memorial Day Ceremony.

The ceremony will take place on Monday, May 25, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Veterans Mound located at Lincoln Highway and Chicago Road.

As we gather together, we remember and pay tribute to the heroes who gave their lives in service to our nation. We encourage all residents, families, and community members to attend and help us honor their legacy. 🇺🇸
