(Español abajo) 🚨🚨Attention neighbors around 19th Street and Throop, unfortunately Throop Street will remain closed pending repairs from ComEd; the area has been secured due to electric wires still hanging and bees nest inside the tree. Please be careful when walking to this area. Our 25th ward crew and Chicago Department of Streets & Sanitation were out late helping clear all streets, special thanks to all the neighbors who came out to help out. We keep building community. ✊🏽

Se ha asegurado la zona debido a cables eléctricos que aún cuelgan y a un panal de abejas en el árbol. Por favor, tengan cuidado al transitar por esta área. El equipo de nuestro Distrito 25 y el Departamento de Calles y Saneamiento de Chicago trabajaron hasta tarde para despejar las calles; un agradecimiento especial a tod@s los vecinos que salieron a ayudar. Following the in person engagement in Pilsen, on Tuesday, June 9th residents can join the virtual webinar at 6pm by visiting Chicago.gov/PilsenIndustrial to register!

Then again on Wednesday, June 10th at 6pm in person at the YMCA at 2700 A Western Ave for an open house to provide input and share your recommendations regarding the future usage of the industrial corridor in Little Village! 🌳🏘️
