On November 5th, 2020 SGA passed a resolution concerning the end of quarter grading for fall 2020.
As students are carrying out their courses during worsening conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, a historical presidential election, and increased civil unrest, SGA believes that students deserve relief during these challenging times. We the students deserve appropriate accommodations, should we need them, to complete the quarter successfully.

It's about that time. This past year has been a whirlwind and I'm proud of the work that this organization has done. From working to extend library hours, developing comprehensive academic priority plans, partnering with community stakeholders on issues such as mental health, sexual assault, and educational affordability measures - it was our goal to work towards systemic change surrounding the issues most prevalent in our communities. We also recognize that we always stand to grow. To create a more diverse and inclusive environment that takes an intersectional approach in our internal organization and the DePaul community as a whole requires commitment. I'm proud that we voted to implement an Executive Vice President for Institutional Diversity and Equity this past quarter and that position is on our Spring ballot for the first time. WIth that - I ask you that will return to DePaul next year to consider running for SGA. We have a list of positions available and it is all in the link. People ask me what does SGA do? We work on internal policy changes with the executives, deans, vice presidents, and Faculty and Staff council. We cross collaborate university wide on programming to engage our student community. We also try to provide educational, community events, and civic engagement opportunities for our members. It has been the honor of a lifetime to serve the DePaul student community and I want to say good luck to all the candidates who decide to run this year. Michael

As a parent of a DePaul Student I am outraged by the fee for illegal immigrant students. I will not pay. I am not supporting illegal immigrants or Sanctuary cities. Will revisit my son returning to this campus for his senior year.
