Happy St Patrick's Day to you all!
Through the Republican Socialist Educational Fund, the IRSCNA acquires books and pamphlets which are sent to prisoners to further their educational efforts.
The Irish Republican Socialist Committees of North America (IRSCNA) was founded in 1984 to expand support for the Irish Republican Socialist Party in Ireland through political forums, press releases, demonstrations, and a quarterly periodical called Seven Stars. The IRSCNA contributes financially to the IRSP to promote the Party's political activities and support of Republican Socialist prisoners,
and reserves to the IRSP ultimate direction for all support work undertaken. The IRSCNA raises funds to support Irish Republican Socialist Prisoners of War (RSPOWS) and their families, through the James Connolly Prisoners' Welfare Fund; maintains contact with the RSPOWs. As a liaison between the IRSP and other socialist, anti-imperialist, and progressive organizations either based in North America, or having greater representation here than in Ireland, the IRSCNA provides active solidarity with these organizations as representatives of the Irish Republican Socialist Party. We comprehensively reject the Good Friday Agreement as an imperialist-backed undemocratic sabotage of true peace and freedom in Ireland. We are guided by the analysis of James Connolly: that the class struggle and national liberation struggle cannot be separated, and are the only movement that uphold that analysis. We are the North American Section of the Irish Republican Socialist Movement which exists to agitate, educate and organize within our class and to mobilize our fellow workers towards the objective of removing the Northern colonial and Southern neo-colonial statelets on the island of Ireland, thus ending imperialism and capitalism, and preparing the basic structures for an Irish Workers' Republic

Sinn Féin Have Abandoned Republicanism. Coronation decision a disgrace IRSP
The Irish Republican Socialist Party share the anger and disgust of thousands of Irish people, at the disgraceful decision of Sinn Féin leader Michelle O'Neil to attend the coronation of British head of state and commander of its armed forces Charles Windsor.
Not only is this decision a complete abandonment of basic republican principles, it is a slap in the face of all who have suffered and lost in the generations old struggle against monarchy, empire and privilege.
With this move, Sinn Féin have lost the right to call themselves a republican party and do not deserve the allegiance of the Republican working class.
The IRSP are determined to build a republican socialist alternative to Sinn Féin's pathetic politics of appeasement and call on all who aspire to a 32 County socialist Republic to return to the principled position and join us in the process.
Well done by these activists
Today Sinn Fein leaders prepare themselves to help normalise British Rule in Ireland by attending the coronation tomorrow of a foreign king; the Colonel-in-chief in fact of the Parachute Regiment who caused more than their share of suffering across Ireland and the world.
It is even more important today then to remember all those who made the ultimate sacrifice that Ireland might be free.
They won’t break me because the desire for Freedom, and the Freedom of the Irish people, is in my heart. The day will dawn when all the peole of Ireland will have the desire for freedom to show. It is then we will see the rising of the moon.”
Bobby Sands March 9th 1954-May 5th 1981.
The Irish Republican Socialist Committees of North America send fraternal greetings to Republican Socialists commemorating the Easter Rising in the Free State and the occupied Six Counties.
Easter week is a time to look back in pride, but more importantly it is a potent source of inspiration in the ongoing struggle for a unified Ireland held in common by the nation’s working class. It serves as a yearly reminder to republicans that what so many brave men, women, and children died for has been misappropriated by those that stand in the way of the Republic while masquerading as the heirs to the Rising. To honor the memory of those that rose up in 1916 means undying commitment to fully realizing what they gave their lives for. As so many republicans before have proclaimed, we know that this requires both political and economic liberation. We send solidarity to those continuing the fight for a 32-county socialist republic. It is through such efforts that “Empires fall and tyrannies perish.”
Spurred on by the spirit and aim of the Rising, IRSCNA is working to revitalize our organization and build a base of support for the anti-imperialist struggle in both Ireland and North America. In the coming year, we hope to establish stronger bonds between the working and oppressed masses on both sides of the Atlantic.
Until we cherish All the children of the nation equally we will continue the fight
Long live the spirit of Connolly and Costello!
Up the Workers’ Republic!
A good cause we fully endorse!

YES For Unity
YES For Irish Unity campaign will be holding a public talk and debate “Building for a Socialist Ireland” in the Civic Room, Strabane Library starting at 7pm on Thursday 15th November. We will cover the themes Class, Demographic, Border Polls and the ending of Partition.
Ireland is entering an era of profound change. For the first time since partition in 1922 population demographics in the occupied six counties indicate that voters who identify as Unionist there are moving towards an era of permanent minority.
So far the debate around an Island wide border poll has been monopolised by mainstream corporate interests seeking to create a united Ireland that works for the 1% currently at the top of society. The IRSP position is that working class peoples interests, the 99%, must be held above all else. We must strive to build an Ireland for the many not the few.
Our YES For Irish Unity campaign for an island wide “Border Poll” is only another phase in our struggle to create a united socialist Ireland free from London, Brussels and Washington rule.
The IRSCNA and IRSP extend their condolences on the passing of Brian Mitchell of Chicago. Brian was a lifelong supporter of the republican cause, Gaeilgeoir, trade union member, devoted husband and father. We would like to take this time to honor his memory and send our support to his surviving family.
