The Primo Center is a leader in providing family shelter and permanent supportive housing, integrated physical, dental and mental health care, early childhood development and supportive services to homeless families in Chicago. No one will be denied access to services due to an inability to pay; and
ii. There is a discounted/sliding fee schedule available based on family size and income.

We are grateful for the grant support that allows us to serve Chicago's most vulnerable homeless families. Saturday's recognition of the many organizations that work each and every day to improve lives in a variety of areas was a wonderful celebration! And we enjoyed a great game too...GO SOX!

A huge and heartfelt THANK YOU to Hines, BEAR Construction Company and In-Motion Commercial Painting for the uplifting transformation of the residents' kitchens/dining rooms and the kids' playspace this week. A special "shout out" to Patrick Philbin, Dana Wildman, George and Jackie and Rocko Graham, Scott Kurinsky Construction and Bob Leseus Painting who secured the paint donation from Sherwin Williams and shared three of his extraordinary painters with us for the day!

We're grateful for the Nourishing Neighbors grant which helps us provide our children with nutritious food over the summer.

Kids attending Primo Center's Mommy & Me had great fun making their own healthy snacks. They even made sushi with peanut butter, strawberries and blueberries. YUMMY! We are proud to be a part of the family!

Primo Center expectant mothers and mothers of toddlers 2 and under were blessed by: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated® Phi Kappa Omega Chapter. The "Baby Shower" was an initiative undertaken as a MLK Day of Service activity.

They collected over 4,000 diapers, over 100 onesies, oodles of socks, tons of baby wipes, blankets, baby toiletries and so much more!

Just look at those smiles! Impact Fund, former Chicago Bear Israel Idonije, and Chicago Police Department officers helped make this beautiful day possible during this year’s “Shop with a Cop” holiday event. Primo Center’s kids experienced the season's joy as they walked the aisles at Target, picking out their favorite toys and clothes. The event hopes to foster safe connections for children and police officers in the communities they serve. Thank you for making this holiday a little brighter for Primo Center’s kids!
