During my campaign for NCAI president, I firmly believe that the empowerment of Native Americans will ultimately provide the solutions to America's challenges. However, achieving this requires unity and collective action. I am committed to addressing various critical issues that impact not only Indian country, but our entire nation.

In the coming days, I will shed a light on each of these initiatives, providing detailed insights into the positive changes I aim to bring about. Together, we can make a lasting impact and create a brighter future for all.

I would like to take a moment to say Happy Indigenous People's Day to all Indigenous peoples everywhere. I also want to recognize the resilience and sacrifices of our ancestors. It is because of their sacrifices that we are stronger together.

Our ancestors always focused on those things that brought us together, not on those things that divide us. Coming together in a unified manner to empower, encourage, and inspire each other to learn more about each other's culture, traditions, and ways of life will be the greatest gift to our ancestors.

Exciting news from our Chairman!

🌟 Exciting Announcement! 🌟

I am thrilled to share that I have officially launched my campaign for the presidency of the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI). As Chairman and CEO of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana, and a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran, I am honored to embark on this incredible journey.

With over thirty years of experience in Tribal administration, economic development, community development, and elected leadership, I am committed to representing the needs and voices of all tribal nations. Together, we will prioritize supporting Tribal women and youth, protecting our sacred lands and waterways, and upholding the vital treaty rights that unite us.

The election will take place during NCAI's 80th Annual Convention and Marketplace in New Orleans, Louisiana, from November 12 - 17, 2023. This transition of leadership from the extraordinary President Fawn Sharp is a pivotal moment for NCAI, an organization that has served as the backbone of support for tribal governments and communities since its founding in 1944.

Beyond a campaign, this is a powerful movement that will unite tribal nations, secure a brighter future for generations, and drive the overall progress of indigenous communities nationwide. Together, we are building a force that transcends boundaries, embracing the rich diversity of our tribal nations and fostering unity. Through our collective efforts, we will create lasting change and leave a remarkable legacy for the generations yet to come.

Indian Country is in need of a visionary leader who can articulate the true needs of all tribal nations and can create the climate to take full advantage of the unprecedented opportunities available to our tribal communities now. I humbly ask for your support and encourage you to join me on this journey as we forge a path of progress, resilience, and collective empowerment. Together, we will create a new narrative—one that celebrates our heritage, strengthens our communities, and paves the way for a brighter, more inclusive future. Stay tuned for updates as we make history together! It’s our time to rise!
