I always have a blast with everyone. The Club gets my mind off things I have going on in my life. On Monday, October 4th students may tune in virtually to address any specific questions/concerns about their application with an Illinois Student Assistance Commission Corp representative.

The second Youth of the Year finalist is Mariana from CC’s Little Village Boys & Girls Club. Mariana has been a Club member for nine years, has served as Torch Club President, and is currently a member of Keystone Club, where she has coordinated community events like "Clean Up the Block."

Mariana is passionate about soccer and appreciates the Club's opportunities for members to have a safe place to play, be active, and have fun. She plans to use her voice as a community leader to recapture public green space, so everyone has a safe place to play and be active.
