I AM the Legacy!
The March on Washington in 1963, my uncle the late Civil Rights Icon Rev Fred L Shuttlesworth, was not scheduled to speak, but Dr King, asked him to energize the crowd and with his fiery speech he did just that! FREEDOM was the Call!
Today 2026, continues to be the call for Justice, Voting, Civil and Equal Rights, Education, Housing!
The Struggle Continues!
Thank You to Cleveland Barrett, Rhonda B. Woods, and others for the posted photos.

National Action Network Chicago Chapter, busses are Full!
The Freedom Riders of the 1960s refused to let fear stop them. They rode for voting rights, justice, and equality. Today, we ride because their work is not finished. We ride to protect democracy. We ride to defend voting rights. We ride because future generations are depending on us.

History doesn't wait for those who hesitate. It is written by those who show up.

The Freedom Highway is waiting.

Now let's do what Freedom Riders have always done—fill every seat, finalize every bus, and keep the movement moving forward.

Every bus represents hope. Every seat represents a voice. Every rider becomes part of history.

See you on the Freedom Highway—Washington, D.C., here we come!

How do we keep our history alive when we are killing each other?
Here in Selma, Alabama! Violence is everywhere! We just a shooting at the Jubilee Festival on Saturday, now a bomb threat on the Edmund Pettus Bridge!
March of 2025 was the last Rev Jesse Jackson Jr., of Rainbow PUSH Coalition and I were together with his son Congressman Johnathan Jackson and Congresswoman Maxine Waters, in Selma, Alabama crossing the Bridge.
God had us Covered!
