Thanks to your support this year, Kelvyn Park Senior Center was able to create a new, ongoing in*******al workshop series, Race Matters, where cross-racial understanding and cultural sharing are a priority.
Director of Older Adult Programs at NWC and Site Director of Kelvyn Park Senior Center Linda Peters began this program to educate residents on racial equity and facilitate a sense of community within the increasingly multiracial center.

The theme was “Getting to Know You” where groups were divided into pairs and interviewed each other about their life stories, then shared what they learned. The final session for this month will be on May 25 from 1-2 pm.
