✊🇺🇸 What’s happening on June 14? One year ago, we gathered for the first of three massive No Kings protests in downtown Chicago. This June 14, we’re joining Indivisible and No Kings for the nationwide “Rise Up, Sing Out” day of action, creativity and community with local watch parties and gatherings celebrating the freedoms that belong to all of us.

✊🎶🗳️ Our Indivisible Chicago Alliance chapters and partners are holding actions across Chicagoland, including midterms canvassing and postcard parties. Rise up, sing out and join in!

✊Next protest: Saturday, June 20th with Chicago Alliance and partners. Federal Plaza at 12 PM. Be there to kick off Freefom Summer & defend voting rights on Juneteenth weekend!

✊ Indivisible Chicago is joining our partners Chicago Alliance and others in an action downtown next weekend to fight back against police crimes and racist attacks on voting rights! JOIN US!

When: 12 PM, Saturday, June 20th
Where: Federal Plaza, Chicago IL

The continued Supreme Court erosion of the Voting Rights Act is a racist attack on the fundamental democratic rights of Black people in the United States. Trump wants to take us back to the era of Jim Crow racism and disenfranchisement that was ushered in with the violent betrayal of reconstruction in 1877. But we will not go back.

Black people and all oppressed people have always fought back against racist and political repression. This Juneteenth weekend, join us in the streets to fight back and demand:

🗣️ DEFEND VOTING RIGHTS!
🗣️ DEFEND FAMILIES AFFECTED BY POLICE CRIMES!
🗣️ FREE SURVIVORS OF TORTURE AND WRONGFUL CONVICTION!
