The #Marines non-commission #officer sword and the #bloodstripe we wear on our #uniform represent a #valuable piece of #history. It represent our past #wars and where we came from marking a valuable lesson, hence why we #honor our #lineage and wear it with #pride on our uniform.
No matter what we all go through, one should never forget where we came from and what our #ancestors has taught us. You either follow in their footstep and honor their lessons or step aside and let someone else take its place.
Where do you stand?
Join us in congratulating the newly promoted Staff Sergeant Carley Davidsmeier!!
A staff sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps is the first staff noncommissioned officer rank and marks a whole new spectrum of leadership responsibilities. While on duty, Staff Sergeants most often act as platoon sergeants or section leaders with one or more corporals or sergeants working directly under them to carry out their objectives to the junior Marines. The primary duties of Staff Sergeants include supervising and delegating section duties to subordinate NCO Marines, as well as training and disciplining all subordinate Marines in their sections. The most distinctive characteristic of a staff NCO is that their success is rated not only by their own proficiency and conduct, but by the overall performance of their subordinates.

It starts in boot camp, the proving ground where every Marine learns firsthand what being part of our proud tradition demands- physically, emotionally, and mentally. But #Marines do not stop learning there. #Education and a Marine's personal development are important to the #MarineCorps.

Enlisted or officer, as one of the Few in the Marine Reserve, you will forever be known by the title you earn—United States Marine. The training commitments of Marine Officers and Enlisted Marines in the Reserve are identical: one weekend a month and two consecutive weeks every year. Visit www.marines.com for more information.
Parents: you should do.... Counselor: you should look into... Coach: you should go to... Teacher: make sure you go to a good.... RECRUITER: WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO?
Sometimes, this is the first time someone will be asked what THEY want to do instead of being force fed a preconceived life/career choice from the most influential people in their lives.
Some people fail to recognize their own true potential because someone is blinding them from other opportunities this world has to offer, doing and saying any and everything they can to deter them from it.
MY QUESTION TO YOU IS..... ARE YOU A LEADER OR A FOLLOWER OF YOUR OWN LIFE?
ARE YOU GOING TO SIT BACK AND LET SOMEONE TELL YOU EVERY LITTLE THING YOU CAN OR CANT DO?
OR ARE YOU GOING TO TAKE EVERY OPPORTUNITY, EVERY CHANCE, AND EVERY AVENUE TO ENSURE YOU ARE SUCCESSFUL IN WHAT YOU WANT TO DO?
The choice is yours......make it....or dont....
A fighting spirit can't be taught. Living deep within a person, it becomes evident in those brave enough to act. The Marine Corps develops the fighting spirit during each stage of training, and that determination is harnessed by every Marine who fights and wins our Nation's battles. #NorthCenter #MARINES
LEADERS NEVER STOP LEARNING
The 14 leadership traits #Marines posses are qualities of thought and action which, if demonstrated in daily activities, help Marines earn the respect, confidence, and loyal cooperation of other Marines. It is extremely important that you understand the meaning of each leadership trait and how to develop it, so you know what goals to set as you work to become a great leader. WWW.MARINES.COM
