Calling all teen girls entering 6th through 8th grade in need of mentoring this summer! The Nellie Prather Foundation proudly hosts the Lady Diva Mentor Program Summer Saturdays! Register your teen girl, to join us for workshops and outings geared towards self-esteem, self discipline, proper internet etiquette and personal hygiene. Chats about things girls want to chat about! Our kiddos had loads of fun this summer at SOY Camp! Early registration is coming soon. This coming summer camp will be even bigger and better! So we are getting an early start:) Get your son/ daughter registered early for SOY camp and get involved in helping us to save our youth and families! We are also quickly heading into the holiday season and are prepping for our Annual Feed a Family turkey basket give- a- way and NPF Toy Drive! So do donate when And if you can...... The Nellie Prather Foundation is a not-for-profit (501c3) organization. This organization guides and implements innovative small group approach seminars, workshops, and informative field trips aimed at helping disadvantaged pre-teen and teen boys and girls to become confident and productive leaders of tomorrow. The NPF equips youth with the necessary skills to be economic, educational and community leaders.
This summer, we are hosting our 5th year of our Soy Summer Camp, servicing youth all over the city of Chicago, as well as providing jobs for youth. We would like to request your support in making a donation to assist us in continually providing services to youth. ALL perishable and non-perishable items are welcomed, including (but not limited to): restaurant/store coupons. gift cards, craft supplies, toys, board games, snack foods, etc. Monetary donations are of great help and assist us in keeping our youth workers employed.
The youth are diligent in sharing and continue to make great strides to accomplish the positive changes in
their lives.

Hey FB fam! Happy Tuesday! Wanted to thank those of you whom have taken the time to inbox me as well as forward your donation to assist the Nellie Prather Foundation in our effort to reach out to help our youth! We pride ourselves in the many programs that we offer to make a difference and our generous donors are the reason why we are able to do so!! Our "1 on 1 Time" mentor program is in dyer need of sponsors for it's participants. Within this program, selected youth from our data base are taken out during our "Saturday sessions" for an hour of one on one mentoring with one of our Educational Consultants, and an hour of attending an outing (i.e movies, out to lunch, skating etc.) You would be surprised at just how much this means to our "at risk" youth whom rarely get the opportunity to spend time away from their daily environment, to vent and be heard!! If you wish to become a sponsor for one of our participants, please inbox me! Each participant can be sponsored at $50.00 for a two hour session. Donors may wish to sponsor as many participants as they wish! We appreciate your efforts to assist us in being the change that our society needs with regards to our youth!
