We thought we share a sneak peek of some looks because we are ONE WEEK AWAY from the Trans Media Fashion Show! This show, put on by FashionBar as part of Chicago Fashion Week, features individuals of trans experience owning their power and walking the runway benefitting The Broadway Youth Center! This year, The Brown ELephant will close the show debuting 16 sustainable fluid fashion looks centered on the mix of masculine and feminine, sourced from the stores themselves.

We’ve been so fortunate to have some of the cast and crew of helping us out at The Broadway Youth Center over the past several weeks while the company is in town. They organized supplies, packed duffle bags full of essentials, dished out meals, and even taught our staff and clients some choreo from the show! You can see them live at the James N. Nederlander Theatre NOW through the end of January!

More volunteers from the musical Hamilton joined us to serve lunch to our young people and organize and hang much-needed winter coats. For our young people, cast members from Hamilton will be back THIS FRIDAY fro 3-5 PM to teach a dance masterclass. See you there!

This weekend at the Trident International Windy City's Chili Cookoff Fundraiser at Charlie's Chicago, over $2000 was raised in a single night for The Broadway Youth Center - all because of some delicious chili!
