In Italy, we say:

"In bocca al lupo!", which literally means "in the mouth of the wolf". It is a unique idiom that is used to wish someone good luck.

The expression would seem to have its origin in the world of hunting, in which hunters used to superstitiously wish each other to end up in the mouth of the wolf, that is, to be devoured.

Meet the duo Vale LP and Lil Jolie—two incredible artists whose journey together started in their teenage years and has led them to the Sanremo Festival stage!

Lil Jolie (Angela Ciancio) from Caserta, born in 2000, made waves with her rebellious spirit, learning how to play the guitar to break away from routine. She gained recognition on SoundCloud, caught the eye of the urban and hip-hop scene, and went on to release her debut album Bambina in 2022.

Vale LP (Valentina Sanseverino) from Naples, born in 1999, has quickly become one of the most unique voices in the new wave of Italian pop. With her mix of hip-hop, soul, and R&B, Vale’s songwriting is raw, poetic, and unapologetically authentic.

Together, they are an explosion, don't miss the opportunity to see them live and perform their song "Dimmi tu quando sei pronto per fare l'amore" at the Sanremo Giovani World Tour in Chicago this May!
