The 100th year anniversary is here 🙌! Beginning June 3rd, come join us every other Wednesday from 8 A.M. - 10 A.M. to celebrate the 100th year anniversary of the electrification of the Illinois Central Railroad 🚆. The first pop-up will be at Millennium Station!

Metra is implementing service improvements across the Metra Electric Line with a new schedule that takes effect June 15. The new schedule simplifies service patterns and increases service frequency at multiple stations in alignment with the goals of the Northern Illinois Transit Authority Act to expand public transit access and improve reliability.
