My Sunday Thoughts!!!
Why shall we emulate the African Founding Fathers’ legacy?
The revolutionaries and Fathers of African independence President Nkwame Nkrumah (Ghana), President Mwalimu Julius Nyerere (Tanzania), Premier Minister Patrice Lumumba (DR Congo), Emperor Haile Selassie (Ethiopia), President Ahmed Sekou Touré (Guinea), President Jomo Kenyatta (Kenya), President Kenneth Kaunda (Zambia), Premier Minister Abubakar T. Balewa (Nigeria), President Gamal Abdel Nasser (Egypt), President Nelson Mandela (South Africa), Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., others must be smiling because what they fought for is being carried out by the new generation led by the Panafricanists such as #HEAmbassadorArikanaChihomboriQuao, #PloLumumba, #blacklivesmatter, #YALINetwork, and many more young generations.
For the first time in history, the first physical meeting of two (2) great Pan African minds, #HEAmbassadorArikanaChihomboriQuaoand #PloLumumba took place in Columbus, Ohio under the invitation of Global Diaspora One Voice Consortium (GDOVC) during the African Diaspora Investor Conference. I was blessed to be invited and spoke at the conference. I take this opportunity to thank the organizers and Chairman #DrRobertChiuri. The two charismatic and Servant African Leaders discussed about partnerships between PLO Lumumba Foundation and African Diaspora Development Institute (ADDI) founded by HE Ambassador Chihombori-Quao.
The key outcome of their discussions is the coordination of their voices both on the Continent of Africa and in the Diaspora Worldwide and increased tangible actions with real solutions to build the Africa We Want (Africa Agenda 2063).
STAY TURNED…..

God blessings!
FINALLY, THE FOUNDER OF THIS BEAUTIFUL CITY OF CHICAGO, #JeanBaptistePointDuSable GOT WHAT WAS LONG DUE TO HIM: BE RECOGNIZED AND HONORED.
A black businessman “Haitian” called “Jean Baptiste Pointe DuSable” has never been recognized the way it should be in our City simply because of his skin color and racism. Since the killing of George Floyd, we formed a coalition called “Black Heroes Matter” calling the Mayor of Chicago and Chicagoans to recognize and honor him by renaming the Lakeshore Drive under his name, have a City holiday, and build a Monument.
Today, the Chicago City Council passed an Ordinance to rename “Lakeshore Drive” to “JEAN BAPTISTE POINT DUSABLE LAKESHORE DRIVE”. The fight isn’t yet over…..
BIG VICTORY ✌️
TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!
A section of Chicago’s iconic Lake Shore Drive could be renamed in honor of Jean Baptiste Point DuSable if the City Council takes the matter up for a vote Friday.
HAPPY REMEMBRANCE DAY!!!
Thank you His Excellency #MrNicolasSergeKazadi, Minister of Finance of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) for receiving me in your Office this April 23, 2021.
