Do you have some hours to spare this summer and fall? Why not spend them in community with seniors at one of H.O.M.E.'s intergenerational residences? We always need guest chefs to prepare lunch or dinner for our residents and then join them for the meal. We also welcome volunteers to help out with parties, outings, activities, gardening, cleaning, and more -- or share a musical or artistic talent with our residents.

Thank you to everyone who supported H.O.M.E. on Hope for Homes Day yesterday! It was inspiring to see so many new donors and long-time supporters come together to raise funds for and awareness of our programs for low-income seniors in Chicago. We did not quite reach our full 2-to-1 matching gift opportunity, but we are very close -- and our matching donors have offered to continue to match donations $2 for every $1 donated (up to $10,000 total) until the end of July. So if you missed out on donating yesterday, you still have time. Thank you again!
