How would you spend $1.5 million to improve our neighborhoods?

Every year, our ward receives funding for infrastructure improvements like sidewalks, streets, alleys, lighting, bike and pedestrian safety, and more. Through Participatory Budgeting, you get to help decide how those dollars are spent.

The Metropolitan Planning Council will be running a series of community workshops to explore what it means to be a "family-friendly" city and whether we have the housing to support those needs. MPC is planning a workshop in an open-house format on Thursday, July 30 (2-5:30 pm) at the Logan Square Branch community room. Come by anytime. The first 30 families will receive a $30 giftcard for participating. School-age children will receive a choice of school supplies for joining the session.

Register here:

Join us for an in-person open house workshop to provide input as MPC explores the question of what makes Chicago "family friendly."
