The Cook County Department of Animal and Rabies Control is hosting the second Vets and Pets rabies vaccine and microchip clinic of the year this Saturday, July 18, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Westdale Park in Leyden Township! Free rabies vaccines and microchips will be available for the first 100 dogs of veterans and service members.

Build Up Cook celebrated the completion of its Asset Management Planning Cohort.

Working alongside the Great Lakes Community Action Partnership and other technical assistance providers, the program helped 11 municipalities strengthen their asset management plans, equipping them with the tools to better plan for and invest in critical infrastructure.

Build Up Cook will continue supporting this group while expanding future capacity-building opportunities. Thank you to all of the participating municipalities for your commitment to building stronger communities.

Keep your dog protected this summer!

The Cook County Department of Animal and Rabies Control is offering free rabies and distemper vaccines, plus free microchips for dogs, at a Partners in Prevention clinic this Thursday, July 9, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the office of Alderman Pat Dowell (3rd Ward).
