15 year old Sadaria Davis was taken from her family in 2018. Detectives assigned to various units in the Chicago Police Department are still actively investigating this case and are committed to solving this horrible crime that was perpetrated against one of Chicago's children.

A man held in the Cook County Jail on charges related to attacks on a woman and a 15-year-old is wanted for questioning in connection with the killings of two other women.

The suspect in this investigation may not be known by the name "Fernando" to his family and friends. The suspect is believed to have regularly targeted drunk, gay men with non-violent theft offenses, at their residences, while they were sleeping.
Following the murder of Kevin Clewer, specifically the release to the media of the "Fernando Sketch", it is believed that the offender fled to Puerto Rico.

Areas Four and Area Five became operational on Thursday, 30 April 2020.

On Thursday, January 16, 2020, at the Court House at 26TH and California, the Cook County State's Attorney's Office successfully prosecuted Charlie Booker. Charlie Booker was found guilty of two counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault and Aggravated Battery. According to prosecutors Booker is looking at a sentence range of 25 to 65 years for this particular incident.
Area North and Area Central Detectives are still actively investigating the open murders of Sadaria Davis (RD# JB-259284) and Shanteiya Smith (RD# JB-297270).

On December 20, 2013 at approximately 9:30pm, days before Christmas in 2013, Jeffery Anderson was killed during a home invasion (Diversey and California Area).

In February of 1988, Don Kurta and Bob Berger, while inside their Edgebrook home (Linden and Ardmore) were the victims of a Home Invasion where they were both shot and killed.
During the course of this incident the offender or offenders took a number of items including the victim's van (which was recovered a few days after the murder), along with stereo equipment, cash, jewelry, and other items. This post includes a photo of the two rings that have yet to be located or recovered.

On 19 June 1977, at the Serbian National Defense Council located at 3909 W North Ave, Anti-Communist author Dragisa Kasikovic and his daughter Ivanka Milosevich were stabbed to death.
There is open source information on the Internet that claims that Kasikovic was targeted by the State Security Forces of the then Communist Government of Yugoslavia. According to the open sources, he and his daughter were killed for his anti communist writings.

On February 26, 2005 on the 4600 Block of North Lincoln Ave (Lincoln and Wilson Area) Richard Markley was brutally attacked in his apartment, robbed, and killed. Richard was a pillar of his community and was a member of the Chicago Lyric Opera. Richard would also sing our national anthem at many of the professional and college sporting events in Chicago.

Our investigation, with the assistance of Facebook followers, has learned that Karen had a boyfriend in Chicago who went by the name of "Gerry" or "Jerry", a male white who lived in and around the area where Karen passed away. If anyone has any information on this person, please contact us.
This is a non-criminal death investigation, but there are questions that investigators have for the people she socialized with that may assist the family.
