Meet the Artist: Anne Heisler is a Chicago based painter & sculptor who has a fascination with the beautiful & complex moments of humanity. Her work shares a love of human features, often created with an androgynous beauty & ambiguous of ethnicity.
A combined interest in primitive sculptures, comics, graphic novels and the Art Nouveau movement often lead her to develop figurative works that Merge realistic and cubist styles.
Her experience working in different industries informs her practice. Using formal art techniques and skills gained from fabrication trades, her surfaces include beautiful textures & both painted and applied three dimensional works.

Now that we have fully recovered we can look back at the past week of events!! A BIG thank you to all the volunteers that came out to help with both events last week.
On Thursday in Joliet, alongside Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet we were able to help families via the Mobile Food Pantry at the Food Distribution Event (Joliet / Plainfield)
On Saturday in Brighton Park, alongside Special Service Area #39 Archer Heights / Brighton Park, we gave away ALL 500 Boxes within 1 1/2 hours at the Feeding with Friends: Feeding Our Community
