The red & green natural jade gemstone beads seem perfect for this St. Ann Chaplet as she is often portrayed in art wearing red & green, representing love & life. Very fitting for the "Grandmother of Jesus!"
Consisting of 3 Pater Noster beads, 15 Ave beads, a simple cut out style Miraculous medal & a medal of St. Ann, this chaplet is a favorite of Canadians, Detroit residents, grandmothers, horseback riders, housekeepers, mothers, & women in labor... all of whom claim St. Ann as their patron.
Always great to have Amate House here with us!
Thank you Amate House for this beautiful video, and Linde for sharing your gifts with us this year!

If you missed Tuesday's conversation about our partnership with Amate House and the Jesuit Volunteer MAGIS program at Loyola University Chicago, featuring Lauren Jhin and Katie Athis, you can watch it here: bit.ly/312Jdm6
Amate House and the Jesuit Volunteer MAGIS program at Loyola University Chicago offer young adults the opportunity to gain valuable leadership and service experience while living in Chicago. Catholic Charities is one of the not-for-profit agencies where these young adults volunteer! Tomorrow, welcomes Lauren Jhin and Katie Athis to discuss how the program has expanded their knowledge of themselves, and of the world.
Practicing gratitude is an important facet of the healing process. Our Amate House fellow holds with reverence the gratitude shared by women in our program in Cook County jail.

Image shows a young woman smiling in front of a poster filled with written words of various sizes. The largest words, "Kids... Mother... Sobriety... Second Chance... God," show the most frequent expressions of gratitude within the group. The young woman is quoted, "I am often left reflecting on just how much I have to be grateful for and how much work there is do to to bend the arc towards justice."
It is that time of year once again when we begin to think about our New Year’s Resolutions. Resolving to pray the rosary daily would be a wonderful resolution to consider!
A good way to help keep the resolution spark alive is to have a special rosary that looks and feels great in your hand. We offer rosaries made from a number of natural materials with a variety of bead sizes and weights…. Some feel very substantial and some are very light weight. We have a rosary to suit almost everyone.
Take a look at our many offerings, and make the resolution to pray the rosary each day in 2021 and for decades to come!
