ВАЖЛИВО! Зміни у порядку ведення консульського обліку
Звертаємо увагу громадян України на важливі зміни у порядку ведення консульського обліку, які набрали чинності 28 серпня 2026 року.
Постановою Кабінету Міністрів України від 26.08.2026 № 1059 внесено зміни до Порядку ведення обліку громадян України, які проживають за межами України.
🔹 Що змінилося?
✅ взяття на консульський облік осіб, які не досягли 18-річного віку, здійснюється без стягнення консульського збору;
✅ особи, які досягли 14-річного віку, можуть самостійно подавати заяви з питань ведення консульського обліку;
✅ заяви про взяття на консульський облік дітей-сиріт та дітей, позбавлених батьківського піклування, розглядаються в день звернення до консульської установи.
У разі взяття на консульський облік дитини, яка не досягла 14-річного віку, документи подає один із батьків або інший законний представник.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has joined a United24 fundraising campaign to purchase 10 Type-C ambulances for Ukrainian hospitals. The initiative, led by former NASA astronaut, first responder and UNITED24 ambassador, Scott Kelly, aims to raise $1,200,000 through UNITED24’s Medical Aid program.
In 2025, Ukrainian emergency medical teams responded to more than 4.5 million calls. Since the start of russia’s full-scale invasion, 495 ambulances have been destroyed or damaged, including 46 in 2026 alone. Each ambulance will help save thousands of lives. Now, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has joined this cause.

Russian attacks continue to terrorize Ukraine. In Kyiv, Shahed drones struck a university while classes were underway; all 160 students survived because they had reached the shelter. Odesa was hit overnight, injuring five people, including a child, and damaging civilian infrastructure. Attacks in Kherson and the Kharkiv region also targeted emergency services and critical infrastructure, injuring civilians and leaving thousands without power.

This terror must be stopped. Russia must face stronger sanctions, while Ukraine urgently needs more air defense and greater defense production. These are not just political measures - they are the means to protect civilians and save lives.

The proclamation of independence in 1991 was not the beginning of Ukraine’s statehood, but the culmination of a centuries – long history and a long struggle to regain a sovereign state.
Across different periods of history, from the times of Rus to the Cossack Hetmanate and the Ukrainian People’s Republic, people here had various forms of statehood and governance. In 1991, Ukraine restored its independence after decades of Soviet rule – a return to the independent Ukrainian state, declared by the Ukrainian People’s Republic over 100 years ago.
Words matter – they shape how history is understood. Saying that Ukraine restored its independence, rather than was born in 1991, recognises this longer historical continuity and the role of generations of Ukrainians who helped shape the country as it is today.
