The Chicago Help Initiative (CHI) provides meals and social services to the those in need while partnering to build community connection, resilience and independence. Welcome to The Chicago Help Initiative (CHI), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing meals and social services to the homeless, underprivileged and today’s jobless citizens of the near North Side of Chicago. Each week our volunteers, generous benefactors and sponsors give up their time and resources to help those who are less fortunate than themselves in an effort to ease poverty, hunger and homelessness in our community.

Looking for something fun to do tomorrow? Visit the Maxwell Street Market. It is located at Halsted and Maxwell St. We will have people from our knitting club there selling their wares. You can stop by and say hi between 10 am and 3 pm.
