Conflict is beneficial when it renders progression. The CTU & City of Chicago were able to tactfully negotiate a happy median that will enrich the academic experience for our students, staff and community members. Thank God . returns to school tomorrow!

On this Day in 1963, MLK jr delivered his legendary “I have a Dream” speech! What will you do today that people will still talk about 56 years later??!!

FUN FACT: MLK’s prepared speech for the rally was on “America’s Bad check/insufficient funds”. He was actually finishing his speech when Mahalia Jackson shouted to him “Tell them the Dream Martin”. At that moment, Martin shifted from lecturer to preacher and delivered his “I have a Dream” speech IMPROMPTU!! He was over his allotted speaking time but was obedient to the shift of God... and made history and continues to inspire the masses to this day.

We are fortunate to have ongoing partnerships with various organizations within the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Our Leaders had a great time learning and exploring at the Gary/Chicago Airport. Some of whom had never been to an airport, let alone on a plane, now are equipped with powerful knowledge of who they can aspire to be!
