Subject: ELL, French, Italian, Spanish Adjuncts Needed

Good afternoon Elizabeth and friends,

My name is Andrew Aquino-Cutcher and I am the Chairperson of the World Languages and English Language Learning Department at Harold Washington College. I apologize for this random email, but we are in dire need of ELL, French, Italian, and Spanish Adjunct Instructors for this fall and Gabriela Cambiasso recommended I contact you. I hope that's ok.

As we have worked with a number of your teacher grads over the years with great success, I was hoping you might have some prospective candidates to send our way. For hire, they must have an MA or a BA + 18 grad credits in the discipline. We are hoping to interview and begin the hiring process this July.

Thank you in advance for any advice or assistance you might be able to offer,
Andrew

My name is Luke McCarthy, and I am an educator, academic and ESL/EFL teacher recruiter.

Currently I am looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable university graduates to teach English at top-level universities in Japan via the Westgate corporation. I know that The University of Illinois at Chicago has a great reputation for producing enthusiastic and knowledgeable graduates. I imagine that many of them may be interested in the prospect of working and living in Japan.

I have attached a PDF which offers information about the position. In a nutshell, it is a well-paid university-level position with 3-5 month renewable contract periods. We provide housing and reimburse flights to and from Japan. In between contracts we offer time-off, where teachers may travel or return home. We are looking for the smartest English-language teachers out there!

If possible, I ask that you forward this message or the attached PDF to any undergraduates, graduate students or recent graduates from your department. Anyone interested is encouraged to contact me at [email protected].

Thank for very much for any help you can offer disseminating this work opportunity. I find that students these days can sometimes feel under informed in terms of work opportunities from abroad. It is great work connecting the right person with the right working opportunity!

Sincerely,

Luke McCarthy
