In the third quarter of 2020, COPA received 1512 complaints and notifications for investigation. This is a 2% increase from Q3 2019 (1482) and 0.53% increase from Q2 2020 (1504). Of the total intake, 1059 fell outside of COPA’s investigative jurisdiction and were referred to the Bureau of Internal Affairs (BIA).
