Thanks CEO Wilkins and Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network for working with my local elected officials to revitalize a large vacant property, making it something special.

Due to the collaborative planning work of Alderpersons Harris (8th Ward) and Sawyer (6th Ward) the vacant former Urban Partnership bank at 79th & Cottage will now be occupied by Gift of Hope and Malcolm X College.

To help supplement the cost I strongly supported and helped deliver $3.5 million dollars from the state of Ilinois to help this project. #runwiththerep

The corner of 79th Street & Cottage deserves to be developed into a destination intersection.

Monday before heading down to Springfield I connected with my friend Harold Williams and SPC Adante Taylor to play basketball with some of our local heros who protect our state and country during their Monday night PT session.

There are many paths for success, if you are looking for options or just curious reach out to SPC Taylor and learn about the Illinois Army National Guard.

Yes, I held my own out there on the court 😂🏀👊🏾💪🏾 #runninwiththerep #goguard #armystrong #chicago #Illinoisarmynationalguard
