NEIU Student Food Pantry Student Affairs created an emergency relief system to support NEIU students experiencing food insecurity. Volunteers & donations needed! Open to all currently enrolled NEIU Students

The Student Pantry will be open on Mondays and Thursdays from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

19th Ward Covid-19 Vaccine Clinic 4/24/21

This Saturday, April 24th, the 19th Ward is partnering with Jewel-Osco Pharmacy to host a Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic at Mount Greenwood Park. Appointments are available to Chicagoans age 16 or older. If you would like to make an appointment, please click here.

Please note, this is a first dose clinic only. If you have received your first dose somewhere else, you cannot receive your second dose at this event. Anyone who receives their first dose at this event will be automatically scheduled for a second dose on Saturday, May 15th at Mount Greenwood Park.

There are also a very limited number of Moderna Vaccine appointments available at the Saint Xavier University Health Center this Friday, April 23rd. If you would like to make an appointment at that location, or join the waiting list in the event of cancellations, please click the link below.

And for the first time, we are offering FRESH MEAT to visitors. We are starting off with chicken drumsticks and pork chops.

Upon completing your registration, you will receive a seven-digit Client ID number. You must use that number when submitting your online order through the Student Pantry. If you have questions, reach out us by messaging on the page or emailing at [email protected].

The last day of getting food from the pantry is this Thursday, December 10th. Afterwards, the pantry will be closed until Monday, January 11th, 2021.

Thanks to the work of the Northeastern Illinois University Alumni Association, University Professionals of Illinois chapter at NEIU, and many other members of the NEIU community, the pantry has several more items available to give to students.

We appreciate all the support in helping students combat food insecurity.

We are bringing back our Drive-Thru Drop-Off food drive at the Alumni Center in support of World Food Day! This Thursday, 10/15, drop off items to support the NEIU Student Food Pantry at the Alumni Center from 11 am to 2 pm.

Open to all NEIU Students The NEIU Food Pantry assists students experiencing food insecurity. The Student Food Pantry seeks donations of non-perishable items and personal hygiene products. These donations are a collaborative effort among NEIU faculty, staff, and students.

FALL 2018 HOURS OF OPERATION The Fall Hours of operation are Mondays and Thursdays from 1-4 p.m in Room E-050. What can you Donate? High Demand Items (make a big impact with your donation): Peanut butter Granola bars Canned soup Rice Baby food/formula Diapers Toiletries (shampoo, soap, toothpaste) Paper goods (toilet paper, tissue) Reusable grocery bags Food Items: Beans, canned fruit, canned vegetables, cereal, chili, jelly, macaroni and cheese, pasta, pasta sauce, peanut butter, shelf-stable milk, soup, stew, rice, tuna, etc. Non-food Items: Personal hygiene products, diapers, facial tissue, paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, deodorant, etc. We do not accept the following items: Opened of partially used items, including cans, bottles, and dried goods,products not in their original packaging, products with no ingredient information labels, homemade or home-canned products, products that have been contaminated, alcoholic beverages or energy drinks of any kind, expired products, pet food, clothing, cleaning supplies, toys.
