What a weekend filled with fun and joy! This past Saturday, our team joined the 12th Ward in Brighton Park for their Back-to-School Block Party, followed by a Back 2 School Block Party with the 14th Ward at the Chicago Lawn Branch Library!

Families enjoyed snacks and activities, and the kids received their backpacks with school supplies to kick off the school year right!

¡Qué fin de semana tan lleno de diversión y alegría! El sábado pasado, nuestro equipo acompañó al Distrito 12 en Brighton Park durante su fiesta vecinal de regreso a clases, seguida de otra celebración similar con el Distrito 14 en la sucursal de la biblioteca de Chicago Lawn.

¡Las familias disfrutaron de botanas y actividades, y los niños recibieron mochilas con útiles escolares para comenzar el año escolar bien!

I am very pleased to share that I received a 100% Legislative Score from Citizen Action.

This past legislative session, I made sure I voted to protect workers rights, LGBTQ+ and reproductive rights, environmental and consumer protections.
