Rogers Park Chamber of Commerce president receives the Saint J...
The Most Reverend James Alan Wilkowski announced today that the 2017 Bishop’s Dinner and Awards Ceremony for the 20th anniversary of the consecration of the Church will be on Saturday, November 4th at the Diplomat West Banquets.
The Dinner, which also commemorates the 20th anniversary of the Episcopal
Consecration of Bishop Wilkowski, will honor the work of individuals and organizations with
the Saint Joseph the Worker Award.
The Bishop selected the Saint Joseph the Worker Award because those chosen to be
honored have witnessed the example of Joseph – working for the greater good and doing so with
love and humility. The annual celebration provides the Bishop and the Evangelical Catholic
Diocese of the Northwest the occasion to simply say “Thank you” to the Honorees.

and to bring together the businesses of Rogers Park and thus what came from it is now the
Rogers Park Chamber of Commerce.”
Bishop Alan Wilkowski said: “There isn’t an issue that Bill and the Chamber aren’t
afraid to tackle. The Chamber was the first Chamber within the city to oppose the soda tax in
Chicago in Cook County. It has taken a proactive stand to remind the community and the
political leaders that crime violence must be address and must be brought down. There is not an
organization that Bill will not take time out of his schedule to talk with, and I must admit at times
I am jealous of his ability to network he has developed a rolodex exceedingly unique and
diverse. What most people are really more concerned about there 401(k), at all sort of things, Bill
has worried about the welfare of the men and women in
