Feast of the Seven Fishes Dinner
Thursday, December 22 | 5:30 p.m.

The Feast of the Seven Fishes Dinner is a Christmas Eve tradition that traces its roots to "La Vigilia" (The Vigil) in southern Italy.

Members and guests are invited to join us for an early celebration of this feast when the ULCC culinary team prepares a family-style menu of seafood dishes.

The Carolers have returned for the Holiday season so bring your office staff, family and friends for a delightful music-filled lunch during the month of December.

Carolers will perform in the lobby from 11:45 a.m. to noon and in the Lincoln Ballroom from noon to 1:45 p.m.

To commemorate the 81st anniversary of the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor by the Imperial Japanese Navy, the Armed Forces Council of Chicago, the Chicago Navy Memorial Foundation, and the USS HYMAN G. RICKOVER Commissioning Committee conducted a formal ceremony and luncheon at the Club.

What do you enjoy most about your position?

I enjoy the interactions I have with the members. I get to meet so many different people.

Background:

I was born and raised in Chicago. I teach a radio/television class at Illinois Media School and I do a podcast. I am also a foodie.
I love to cook.

What is something about you that most people don’t know?

I'm a radio personality in Chicago on 104.3 Jams on the weekends.

ANN PONCE

Ann Ponce has been painting and teaching art since 1976, in Denver, Indianapolis and Chicago. Classically trained in art, Ann first studied drawing and painting at Indiana University, then at the Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design in Denver, Colorado, where she joined the faculty from 1976 to 1978.

From 1988 until 1997, she taught classes in Portraiture, Figure Drawing, and Painting at the Evanston Art Center, Evanston, Illinois. Ann now teaches from her own studio. Her work is in many private and public collections.

WINTER RECESS
Saturday, January 7 to Saturday, March 4 | 9:00 a.m.

Winter Recess returns on January 7! The program provides instruction for children 2 through 12 years of age in a variety of activities- including swimming, basketball, court games and more.

Children are divided into three age groups. The Tiny Tots (2-4 years) will have two hours of activities that will require at least one of the parents to accompany them in the pool and the gym. The Juniors (5-7 years) and Seniors (8-12 years) will be under the supervision of the instructors for their three hours of activities.

Parents are also invited to get involved. Parents can work out or take a spinning class and for those whose busy schedule doesn't allow for some of the important things in life, massage therapy and manicure/pedicure services will also be available.
