Voting for Participatory Budgeting in the 39th Ward will begin on Monday, Jan. 31 through Friday, Feb. 11. Alderman Samantha Nugent is excited to share the list of projects that will appear on this year's ballot. When Alderman Nugent was elected in 2019, she brought the first PB cycle to the ward. Now in its 3rd year, 40 community members are on the PB Committee. The PB Committee proposes, evaluates, and selects projects that are voted on by residents of the 39th Ward. See the projects on this year's ballot by checking the Alderman's page and AldermanNugent.com. You can vote online or by paper ballot at the ward office during regular business hours. 39th Ward Residents, age 14 years and older, vote on the community ballot. The infrastructure projects that receive the most votes, which add up to $500,000, will be funded.
You can vote online here (https://www.participatepbchicago.org/processes/PB39) from Monday, Jan. 31 through Friday, Feb. 11.
