Personal PAC is a nonpartisan political action committee dedicated to protecting and advancing reproductive rights for all women in Illinois.

Reproductive rights are currently facing an unprecedented attack. Anti-choice candidates and legislation, on both the state and national level, are threatening to dangerously restrict and deny access to safe and legal abortions as well as access to birth control.

Thank you for showing us how to live a courageous life, Gloria. 🌹 There is a profound parallel that binds generations of this movement together. When Gloria Steinem was 22, she found herself in London needing an abortion—an experience she famously dedicated her memoir to. Decades later, when our CEO, Sarah, was 22, she found herself in the exact same position: alone in London, needing care, and deeply grateful to access it.

Both of those abortions allowed two women to go on and do incredible things with their lives. Getting to share that personal connection with Gloria was a dream. And having Illinois Lt. Governor and US Senate candidate Juliana Stratton there to share that space made it unforgettable.

Rest in peace, Gloria!
