UPDATE: Power has been restored!

🚨 TRAFFIC ALERT 🚨

Motorists are advised that traffic signals are currently out at the following intersections due to storms that moved through the area last night:

• US Highway 27 & Lee and Gordon Mill Road
• US Highway 27 & Lafayette Road

Power crews are actively working to restore service as quickly as possible.

Until the signals are operational, please treat these intersections as four-way stops and proceed with caution. Allow extra travel time, stay alert, and watch for emergency personnel and utility crews in the area.

English Avenue at West 13th Street is currently shut down due to a large tree across the roadway.
Crews are on scene and actively working to remove the tree and reopen the road as quickly as possible.
Please avoid the area and use alternate routes.

Update: Roadway is now open US Highway 27 Southbound at Lee and Gordon Mill Road will be shut down due to an accident.

We are monitoring the potential for severe weather late Sunday night into early Monday morning. Our area is at a 🟡Level 2 (Slight Risk)🟡for severe storms. Storms could produce damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph, quarter-size hail, and a few isolated tornadoes.

Please have multiple ways to receive weather alerts overnight and ensure cell phones and other electronics are fully charged in case storms lead to power outages. Stay weather aware.
