A big thank you to Steve Hower, President of the Rotary Club of North Mobile, for addressing the Chickasaw Chamber at our monthly meeting on August 20, 2026!
Steve was joined by Kathy Couey and Lydia Gaudet (Secretary/Treasurer) and shared information about the Rotary Club's efforts to serve our community. Attendees also learned about the Storm Stick, an innovative firefighter decontamination tool designed to help reduce cancer risks and promote the health and longevity of firefighters.

The Chicksaw Chamber of Commerce gives a special thanks to both Daniel Loper and Randall Wheeler.

Daniel Loper is the owner of Rush Hour Brews. He had Teryn Colvin bring samples of some of their coffees and loaded teas for us to taste at this past chamber meeting on Thursday, July 16th. Everything tasted great! Rush Hour Brews is located at 300 West Lee St.

Randall Wheeler is the Founder & CEO of Coastal Security Taskforce. Coastal Security Taskforce offers services such as patrolling, surveillance, access control, and emergency response. They are a trusted leader in providing security solutions for businesses, residential areas, and government agencies.

On Thursday, June 18, 2026 the Chickasaw Chamber of Commerce presented the annual Chickasaw Citizen of the Year program. Mayor Tyran Colvin was the speaker for this great event. Congratulations to Kirk Callahan for being awarded the Citizen of the Year, and Teresa Colvin for being awarded the Volunteer of the Year. There were a few special guest in attendance. The former mayor of Chickasaw, Barry Broadhead, Mobile County License Commissioner, Nick Matranga, and U.S. House District 1 candidate, Jerry Carl joined us for the festivities. Special thanks to the Chickasaw Chamber Board, Chickasaw Parks and Recreation, Ms. Patsy Lewis, and Mr. Dannell Hunter of Fry Daddy's for your support and contributions.
