Learn the arts of quilling (an art form that involves rolling, shaping, and gluing narrow strips of paper together to create decorative designs - see the next image for an example) and candle making during this week’s Colonial Crafting programs at the Chickasha Public Library! Candle Making will be at 10 a.m., and Quilling at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 5. To register, call the Library at 405-222-6075.

Reminder that Chapter Chat is tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the Library's meeting room. This month's theme is books by Lucy Glass, who writes cozy mysteries set in the fictional town of Medicine Creek.

History will come to life at the Chickasha Public Library during the "Living Library: America Through the Decades" presentation Saturday, June 13. Stop by the library any time between 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. for this come and go event.

Local library youth will showcase interactive displays and live portrayals of iconic figures representing every decade of American history from 1776 to 2026. This immersive educational event offers a unique journey through the nation's past.

The Festival of Freedom celebration at the Chickasha Public Library kicks off TODAY with our Patriotic Book Club! Dr. James Finck, USAO professor of American history, will host a discussion on the Declaration of Independence this evening, Thursday, May 28 at 6:30 p.m.

The Patriotic Book Club will continue each week through July 2 and is designed for adult participation.
