In November, Officers were issued Electronic Road Flares purchased through a partnership grant with Plains All American Pipeline.

We had a good reason to put them to use last the last few weeks — and they were a tremendous help.

Thank you again to Plains All American Pipeline for your partnership and for helping enhance officer safety on our roadways.

On February 20, the Chickasha Police Department partnered with the Oklahoma ABLE Commission to conduct underage v**e and to***co compliance checks in Chickasha. The operation was led by Detective Sgt. Scott Ely with assistance from Officer Bo Davis, both specially trained in ABLE compliance procedures.

With the help of supervised youth volunteers, officers conducted controlled purchase attempts at local licensed businesses. One business, The Cave (527 S. 4th Street), was found to be in violation of state law, and enforcement action is underway in coordination with ABLE.

We remain committed to protecting the youth of our community and will continue compliance and education efforts with our state partners.
