A Great Day!!

Wednesday, I received a call from the Chickasha Emergency Management Director, Edward Perez. He had been in contact with the United Cajun Navy Relief Organization. Scott Peake who is part of that organization and lives in Oklahoma was invited to come to the Grady County Local Emergency Planning Committee - LEPC yesterday May 28th. The meeting was great, and to add to the goodness The United Cajun Navy was donating a brand new Scooter for someone with major disabilities. They asked us who could be that recipient. Edward & I contacted different groups we have partnerships with to see who could get this blessing.

Mary T was identified by Community Alliance, The Springs Creek Oklahoma Home & Community Education- OHCE as needing the scooter. Through the generosity, and heart of The Cajun Navy, Area Emergency Management, Alliance & OHCE this blessing was delivered this morning to Mary. She is so excited and happy and now can get around easier and even race folks in her scooter.

Another Great Grady County Day!!
