There is still time for young people 12-17 to sign up for a free art-based support group hosted by local artist Ama Posey.

This group is designed to create a welcoming space for teens to create and explore self-expression through art in a supportive environment. All art materials will be provided.

Congratulations to Chico High Friday Night Live Morning Wellness Program, one of 18 organizations in Butte County that was awarded grant funding from the Youth Action Project’s Mini-Grant Program. The grant will teach students about wellness habits. The 18 grants totaled $20,000 for projects designed to support grassroots efforts that promote youth mental health, wellness and social connectedness in Butte County.
