Richardson Mineral Springs Richardson Springs was founded in the 1800's in a Canyon about 9 miles Northeast of Chico.

Boasting of healthy mineral water it became an amazing place to experience the mineral baths and drink the mineral waters.

The circle in front of the main hotel at Richardson Mineral Springs has been a gathering place for pictures and enjoying the beautiful resort and views of the surrounding mountains.

Through the years the circle changed with an open feel, to trees and shrubs after the late 1950’s modernization of the resort. After YWAM Chico, California merged with Springs of Living Water in 1988 the trees that were dying were removed and the flag poles were added. The original fountain was restored but the fountain leaked and wasn’t set-up like modern fountains with a recirculating pump. Dylan Wagner built the new fountain.
