Chico MiniCon The Convention that comes to you! Starting with Chico Mini Con 2009, Japanese*Fusion has joined the hosting clubs.

The first Mini Con was in spring 2007 and was put together through a joint effort by the Japanese Animation Club and Comic Book Coterie. Hoping to keep it an annual event, it was held again in the spring of 2008 along with the help of the martial arts fraternity Mu Alpha Xi. Last year, 2011, was our 5th birthday as a convention and was the best yet, introducing a video game tournament as well as a

Magic the Gathering Tournament. This year we are proud to introduce the Harry Potter Club as one of the featured club helping us run MiniCon! Events have included:
panels
a game show
a cosplay contest
game tournaments (video game and Magic the Gathering)
an art gallery and art contest
a cafe
a swap meet
anime showings
