The Center for Learning and Resilience is saddened by the passing of Dolly Parton and grateful for the incredible legacy she leaves behind.

Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, millions of children have received the gift of a book—and with it, the opportunity to imagine, learn, connect, and dream.

As a center committed to supporting young children and families, we know just how powerful a book can be. Every story shared between a child and a caring adult builds connection, language, confidence, and resilience.

Thank you, Dolly, for believing in children and making sure that a love of reading could reach families everywhere.

Your legacy will live on, one book and one child at a time.
