An article in the San Francisco Chronicle this morning reports that 148,000 mail ballots were rejected in Calfornia in the June primary. About 2/3 of those were rejected because they were postmarked too late or arrived too late. Bottom line: There is no good reason to wait until the last minute to vote . Go ahead and get it done when you get your ballot. And, if for some reason you do vote at the last minute, drop it into one of the official drop boxes rather than the mail.
