Linda Melconian will discuss her book on Ella Grasso, an important figure in Connecticut politics. She will focus on her run for governor.

Mit Wirkung vom 30. März hat das Außenministerium die Online-Präsenzprüfung von Nichteinwanderungsvisum-Antragstellern erweitert, um alle A-3-, C-3- (falls Haushaltshilfe), G-5-, H-3- und deren H-4-Angehörige, K-1-, K-2-, K-3-, Q-, R-1-, R-2-, S-, T- und U-Visum-Antragsteller einzuschließen. H-1B-Antragsteller und deren Angehörige sowie F-, M- und J-Studenten und Austauschbesucher unterliegen weiterhin dieser Prüfung.

Alle Antragsteller, die diese Visumkategorien beantragen, werden angewiesen, die Datenschutzeinstellung auf allen ihren Social-Media-Profilen auf „öffentlich" zu ändern, um die zur Feststellung ihrer Identität und Zulässigkeit für die Vereinigten Staaten erforderliche Überprüfung zu erleichtern.
