Congratulations to CMHS Principal Stacy Drummond on graduating from the Florida Department of Education’s Chancellor’s Leadership Academy (CLA)!

Mrs. Drummond was selected to participate in this prestigious year-long program, which brings together some of Florida’s top educational leaders to strengthen transformational leadership, instructional excellence, and continuous school improvement through data-driven practices.

Her successful completion of the academy reflects her dedication to professional growth, educational excellence, and ensuring the best possible outcomes for students and staff at CMHS. We are proud to have her leadership guiding our school and helping move our Tribe forward.

We would also like to congratulate WES/JBES Assistant Principal Cecilie Smith on graduating from the Chancellor’s Leadership Academy. This accomplishment is a testament to the commitment both leaders have to serving students and continuously improving their leadership practice.

A special thank you to Mrs. Story and the Dreamers Cafe for preparing a delicious end-of-the-year luncheon for our teachers and staff. We were grateful to treat our faculty and staff to a meal as a small token of appreciation for their hard work, dedication, and commitment throughout the year.

We would also like to congratulate Mrs. Donna Cravey and Mrs. Maria Shaffner on their well-earned retirements. Thank you for the countless lives you have touched and the lasting impact you have made on our school community. We wish you both many years of happiness, relaxation, and new adventures ahead.

🌮🎉 We loved celebrating our students today who showed growth and proficiency on state testing! Their hard work, perseverance, and dedication paid off, and we were excited to recognize their success with a fun nacho celebration!

Students enjoyed nachos, sweet tea and lemonade, music, games, and time to socialize with friends while celebrating all they accomplished this year. Watching our students smile, laugh, and take pride in their achievements was such a great reminder that hard work truly matters.

A special thank you to Mrs. Story and the Dreamers Cafe for preparing and serving the delicious nachos and refreshments that helped make today extra special for our students!

Our College & Career Readiness classes had the opportunity to learn from two amazing guest speakers this week!

A huge thank you to our Florida Watermelon Queen Shanie Keene for sharing about her passions and representing Florida agriculture, and to Leah Carlson for giving students insight into the healthcare field and her career as a Respiratory Therapist.

We are so thankful for community members who take the time to inspire and encourage our students as they explore future career paths!

Our College and Career Readiness students wrapped up their mock interviews this week and we could not be more proud of the confidence, professionalism, and growth they showed throughout the process!

A huge thank you to all of the community members, professionals, and volunteers who took time out of their schedules to interview our students and help provide them with real-world experience and valuable feedback. 🩵💛

Last call for senior balloons is tomorrow!

BALLOON SALES EXTENDED!

As we start thinking about our seniors’ final day on campus, it’s time to think about celebrating them. Balloons are on sale through Wednesday 5/13.

Seniors will be given these balloons before their final walk through the CMHS hallways. Any outside balloons and gifts can be given to seniors after they exit the buildings. We encourage families to meet their seniors in the parking lot that day to celebrate their last day of school.
