Every harvest begins with someone willing to plant.
More than a century ago, Ida Mathis challenged farmers to restore depleted land rather than simply exhaust it.
She planted ideas about stewardship, responsibility, and caring for what would sustain the next generation.
In 1912, she purchased the cavern we now call Majestic Caverns.
This fall, her extraordinary story comes alive underground through Harvestus.
Coming September 14. 🌾

At Majestic Caverns, students are not simply hearing about history and geology.

This fall, Majestic Caverns will debut Harvestus, an entirely new Laser Light Show inspired by the remarkable life and legacy of Ida Mathis.
It is a story about planting with purpose, working in faith, waiting in hope, and leaving something good for generations we may never meet.
Harvestus debuts September 14.
We cannot wait to share this one with you.
