Safety is saving Ross County employers real money. 💰

For Fiscal Year 2025, Ross County Safety Council employers earned $52,301 in workers’ compensation premium rebates through their participation in the statewide safety program. That’s money going directly back into local operations, payroll, and growth right here in Ross County.

Statewide, Ohio employers received a total of $5.699 million in rebates, and our Safety Council investors played a strong part in that success by showing up, tracking safety, and meeting all program requirements.

✅ Proven savings on workers’ comp premiums
✅ Stronger safety culture
✅ More dollars staying in Ross County

An updated list of Ross County Safety Council employers who received the FY25 rebate is available. To request the list or learn how your company can qualify for future rebates, contact Mallory Bostwick at [email protected]

📅 Enrollment for the 2026/2027 program year will open soon. If you want to turn safety into savings, now is the time to get connected!

World-Class Trucks, World-Class Safety 🚛✨

We often say that we exist to make Ross County the best place for business and people to grow and thrive, and Thursday was a perfect example of that in action.

We want to extend our sincere thanks to our friends at Kenworth Truck Co. and their incredible safety team for opening their doors and hosting our February Safety Council meeting.

It’s one thing to know that the "World’s Best Trucks" are built right here in our backyard; it’s another to see firsthand the dedication to safety that makes their operation tick. Walking through the facility, you’re reminded that safety isn’t just a checklist—it’s a culture. It’s about making sure every single person gets home to their family at the end of the shift.

We are so grateful for Kenworth’s leadership, not just as a major employer, but as a standard-bearer for workplace safety in our region. Thank you for the hospitality, the insights, and for helping us drive growth and change in our community.

To our Safety Council members who attended: thank you for prioritizing safety in your own organizations. When we collaborate and learn from the best, we all win.

Stay safe, everyone!

A reminder: Our meeting this month is at the Kenworth Truck plant, 65 Kenworth Drive.
